It is so wonderful to see other women reach out to younger women ‘THE LORD’S WAY’ and not the way of the world. If we truly apply obedience to HIS Word, we WILL be a peculiar people and then we’ll feel proud to apply Matther 5:16, as all credit, glory and honor goes to HIM!

Hmm…yes, I was quoted the Titus passage about women…and found v5 difficult to digest!.., ‘obedient to their husbands’…it seems a little out of step to Jesus approach to women. He came to give them equality not more slavery and blind obedience to a master..came accross your study and makes so much more sense..there has be free will involved, otherwise we’ve gained nothing in this life from the liberty Christ died to bring us! Thank you for your diligence!

Hi there. I am a new wife–since Oct 27, 2007!–and I am excited to read the things here. I wrote a little about the Titus passage on my blog as well (kellicanfield.wordpress.com) but I focused more on what I had learned specifically from experience and time with the Lord instead of focusing on how to apply the whole and share that with others. I am glad to be reading your studies and even more excited to the Lord grow me in Him through working in you also!

I want to be clear. I’m not saying I disbelieve Careful. And Tim’s treatment of Corrie and Light would corroborate well with these other accusations.

What I’m saying is we should not believe an accusation against an elder of a church (or anybody else for that matter) except on the basis of witnesses, as the Scripture says.
